What we do
Five disciplines.
One independent voice.
Notes from the bay
Independent doesn't mean adversarial.
It means the report doesn't have a quota.
Most fleet operators we meet have a maintenance shop they trust and a parts vendor they like. We're not trying to replace either. We're the second set of eyes — the pair that doesn't get paid more if more is wrong.
Our reports are short, plain-English, and structured the way auditors and insurers read. If something isn't broken, we say so. If something is, we tell you what it'll cost roughly to fix and how urgent it really is.
That's the whole pitch. We've been doing it from the same garage on Carpinteria Drive in Galt for over a decade.

From the operators we work with
"Alejandro caught a coolant-system issue on a 2021 Sprinter we were about to repaint and put on the lot. Saved us at minimum four grand and a very unhappy customer."

"We schedule Carsaman on the second Tuesday of every month. Their reports go straight to our maintenance manager and our insurance underwriter. Both prefer them to what we had before."

"Honest, on time, doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. That used to be normal. Now it's rare."

Common questions
Quick answers, no jargon.
More questions on each service page — or call +1 (209) 609-2784 and we'll walk you through it.
Do you come to our yard, or do we bring vehicles to you?+
Both. For fleets of six or more vehicles, on-site is almost always faster and cheaper. We bring everything we need in the inspection truck.
How long does an inspection take?+
A pre-purchase passenger vehicle usually takes 45–60 minutes. A medium-duty commercial truck takes about 90 minutes. We give you a per-vehicle estimate before we book.
What does a report include?+
A structured PDF with photos, condition grades by system, plain-English notes on findings, rough repair-cost ranges, and a clear pass/conditional/fail summary.
Do you do repairs too?+
No — and that's the point. We refer to local shops we trust, but we never receive a kickback or commission. Your report stays independent.
Do you bill insurance or work as an expert witness?+
We don't bill insurance directly, but our reports are insurer-grade and we've supported expert-witness engagements for fleet operators. Ask us about prior work.

Let's talk about your fleet.
Most engagements start with a 20-minute call to scope your fleet, your sites, and the documentation your insurer or auditor expects.
